A collaboration has been established with the ACID project

A collaboration has been established with the ACID project (PID2021-127092OB-I00) entitled “Las Rías Baixas (NO Iberian upwelling system) as experimental areas to study the impact of marine acidification on coastal ecosystems” whose PI is Dr. Cristina Sobrino from the University of Vigo. COMETA and ACID share study area and have several complementary objectives that will generate important conclusions about the biogeochemical cycles of coastal areas and in particular of estuarine systems. COMETA y ACID comparten zona de estudio y tienen varios objetivos complementarios que generarán importantes conclusiones acerca de los ciclos biogeoquímicos de las zonas costeras y en concreto de los sistemas de ría.
